( I am not a Texas fan but what a specimen)

March Madness is here and I hope everyone is as unsure about their brackets as I am. The past few years have gotten harder and harder. I try to participate in as many pools as I can but it is very hard which bracket is my best guess. I don't really see any 16 seeds winning so i am not expecting any major upsets to that degree, but it gets very complicated after the first couple of seeds.

Each year it becomes more difficult to compare conferences in terms of non-conference schedules, home vs. away, and so forth.

 So I guess I will take shot in the dark as to which one is my best guess. A few friends have listed Winthrop as their sleeper and that makes sense. It would not surprise me for them to be seeing Wisconsin in the elite 8 but who knows.

If anyone has any good sleeper picks, let me know. It's fun to hear different opinions.

 I guess the unpredictabilty and the upsets are what makes it fun to begin with and over analyzing can just ruin the fun of it unless you are after the money.

 

I have been thinking about replacing my wife's '04 Tahoe with a new one. I went to the dealership where we bought the '04 to to look at the '07's. When negotiating the trade in, the retail price is $1k over what I owe and they were unwilling to give me an extra $2k on the trade. That is understandable except for the fact that the miles on it are right at the expected mileage for an '04 and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. In fact the only reason it even makes sense to get a new one is because interest rates are a little better now.

 So I asked, " If I buy a new one from you today and take good care of it, are you going to stick it to me again in 3 years when I come and look at the '11's?"

You should have seen my sales guy's face when I asked that. He was a little stumped.

 If that's the case, looks like they need to move the sticker price down about $2k on those rigs and THEN open up the negotiations. They keep calling now saying they can do it but I think they were just waiting for me to cave and that's quite arlight. I won't be caving and they should know that TIME KILLS ALL DEALS.

 It's ok though, I just had to vent a little. Besides, a competitor offered me what I owe no problem considering I am in the market to take a new one off their lot. So I am going to take a few weeks and make up my mind. I kinda want to go look at the new Cherokee's too.

 Car shopping is SO much fun!

I need to get my profile finished but I was just informed that my mom has a falt tire and I need to go to her house and change it for her...

 Fot hose who don't remember what happened on Sunday the 11th... Yep that was the day it RAINED all day. (at least in Norman) This is going to be fun but at least its just a tire right? It can always be worse!

What can I say? Things honestly can't be going any better for my famiy. Exiciting times are ahead of us.
