I won't be repeling this weekend as I am going to a "stock the bar" party for my friend that is getting married. I was kind of looking forward to the repeling and camping but T is only gonna get married once and I will have plenty of time to do some other stuff.
Therefore, I am guessing we will end up at our spot, Opie's! I drink beer at every bar but that one. I spend $8.00 for Red Bull & Vodka's but by god, they are worth the $8.00. I always wake up the next day and wonder why I dropped $100.00. However, I always go back and I never learn my lesson....
I need to really start focusing on running if I am to be prepared to compete in a marathon next year. Well, I may do the half if I feel I can more competitive. Regardless, I won't be competing at all if I don't start getting serious.
Gonna be hard to focus because its gonna be a busy few weeks. We are taking my buddy away for a weekend before his wedding and we will be fishing for small mouth with beer cans. Just kidding, but hopefully we can get into some good ones...
We have reserved a cabin in Mena Arkansas. It's right on the river in the Ouchita's and its gonna be fun!
I like to say we will be doing alot of fishing but it would not surprise me if I don't fish at all....
We have alot of beer drinking to do and there is only 1 weekend to do it. Not to mention there will be 10-15 of us so this could get a little hectic.
We decided on my wife's new rig and we went with the 4-Runner. We have had it a few weeks now and I am impressed. I have a feeling I will be in yota's for life. She took it back last week to have the entertainment system installed as this was her only request in trading off the Tahoe. So I waited until the dealership got the deal where I wanted it and then told them I need the enetertainment system put in in order to take delivery. They finally came around the next day and called me back to say we had a deal!
I gotta get the air filter and few other things but we are pretty much going to leave it stock. For those of you that change your own oil, the filter is on top of the block which is very convenient!
It is the same 4.0 v6 they put in the tacoma's and the new FJ Cruisers. This is our first v-6 but it seems to have plenty of power. My friend's v6 tacoma has pulled my 1/2ton silverado out of the mud more times than I would like to admit...
This rig won't be getting into any mud. I see a Tundra in my future whe it is time to get into a new truck.
